    Hi,

I am interested with the infusionSMS, I have a question:

I am located in Singapore, so therefor most of my SMS will be in Singapore and sometime I speak in Taiwan, Malaysia, Indonesia mostly in Asia. I have check out Boom Tex and it support most of the carriers in Asia, which is a great news for me.

But when I try out BoomText Demo Demos:

Text the “keyword” to the short code
    1. Start a new text and enter 411247
where you would a phone #
    2. Enter the keyword in the body
    3. Press Send!
    Text ALERT to 411247
    Text CAR to 411247
    Text EAT to 411247
    Text DANCE to 411247
    Text SPORTS to 411247

I can’t send it out from my phone, there is error.

So now I am confuse if this service can serve me well.

    Please advice…

    Thanks

    Teddy

  2. Barry Liddle says:

Has this service been tested for Australia?

Will inbound sms work to add contacts and also when sending SMS to say Phone3 will this service drop the “0″ from the start of our mobile phones and remove any spaces in phone numbers?

Eg. Our mobile phone format as people enter them into webforms can be as follows:

    0411 111 111
    0411111111
    0411 111111

to send an SMS we would need format to be “+61″ for country code and then drop the “0″ at beginning on number.

So inside Infusionsoft will it grab the country code field for the app +61 and ad this to a persons “Phone3″ field and then add it to the last nine (9) digits of the numbers in this field so it drops the initial “0″ and remove any spaces?

It would need to look like +61411111111.

Will this service automatically create this format so SMS works to and from contacts in Australia?

    Many thanks

    Barry Liddle
