Lets now look at some of the opportunity settings in Infusionsoft.

To configure your opportunity settings its under CRM, then Settings and then on that page scroll down a bit and look for ‘Sales Pipeline’ under the section titles Sales Settings.

The sales pipeline is saying that there’s a general flow that everyone is going to follow when dealing with your sales team. New leads are going to come in, we’re going to be trying to contact them, once we’ve contacted them we’re going to be following up with them about whatever conversation happened before, as we get closer you can say it’s in the working stage, which is working towards reaching a deal and when they’re actually interested in your product or services.

After this there is a closing stage where you would finalize the deal, a sold stage followed finally by a fulfillment stage where the product or service would be delivered to the customer. You can customize each of these stages, add your own, or just use these examples and figure out what context these fit into your business.

I’ll give you a few examples of how to use these using the basic mapping we created in the last video about the campaign builder.
